Consciousness, Mind and Spirituality: Ensuring a happy journey to the center of the self

Atul Vaidya*

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to understand the concepts and connection between spirituality and the mind and consciousness. Through various surveys, experiments and references, an attempt is made to realize the importance of meditation in day-to-day life. In the process of completing this project, there have been number of hurdles and barriers which had to be faced and overcome to find the solution of this mystifying topic of Self consciousness, which were possible only because of the meditation techniques like Vipashyana, Dynamic meditation, and Sudarshan Kriya.  All the researches and projects in this field were made possible only because of the scientists, neurologists and philosophers who introduced scientific reasoning and concepts in the field of meditation and spirituality.
This particular topic was chosen because in this present time of stress and continuous tension very few people are aware of the importance of meditation, which brings peace to the mind, by connecting one to the own self conscious.  Even when Humans are blessed by having a thinking brain which can understand Self Consciousness, very few make use of it.
This presentation is just to wish you a happy journey to the center of yourself.

Key Words: Consciousness; Meditation; Spirituality; Introspection.
